Timon Altwegg is in great demand as a specialist in
chamber music and soloist and is being invited to give
concerts in the United States, South-America and all
over Europe on a regular basis. He has also been
successfully performing in the Middle East and Libya.
Altwegg excels in the solo interpretation of Spanish
and Latin-American composers giving special
prominence to rarely performed piano music. In May 2004 Timon Altwegg gave an
outstanding, historic performance with the Iraqi
National Symphony Orchestra, being the first foreign
soloist invited to Iraq since 1990.
